About the event
Portland’s Emily Love and The Highliners busted onto the scene in 2023 and haven’t quit rocking the dancefloor since. The songs, written by Love, are irreverent modern takes on classic country themes. The ripping telecaster and moody pedal steel, are a two-stepper’s dream, and the lyrics are catchy enough that you’ll be singing along by the last chorus. Their debut LP will be released in September 2025 and singles “Dance a little closer”, “On Like Neon” and “Heart of a Fool” have been getting national attention on alt-country radio.
